Reservations/Information:
Email us a request at
tours@wonderwalks.com,
use our Request form, or call us toll free at 877-897-7175 or in Vermont
(802)453-2076 as soon as possible. The small inns we use can become unavailable,
particularly during peak seasons. However, if a reservation is requested within 30 days
of a trip that is running we will do our best to accomodate you.
A deposit of 50% of the
trip price by check payable in U.S. funds to "Wonder Walks" is required at the time of booking, and the
balance is due at least one month prior to the start of the trip. Sorry, but we don't accept credit cards at this time.
For Self-guided trips
(traveling and exploring on your own) we charge a modest fee for research, making inn
reservations for you, and providing maps and an itinerary. This is usually $150 per
person.
Refunds:
If you withdraw from a
trip, and notification is received up to the day before the start date, you will be
refunded the cost of the trip minus any inn and service fees (handled on an individual
basis). No refunds will be made on or after the trip start date.
Trip Cancellation:
In the event of
unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to cancel or change a trip within 4 weeks
prior to the start of the trip. If this becomes necessary, we will offer an alternative
trip or a full refund.
Trip Insurance:
We strongly advise you
to purchase trip insurance to cover you if you are unable to make the trip or are
detained due to unforeseen circumstances on your end, i.e. illness, a family emergency,
or traveling delays.
Getting There:
When we confirm
your reservations we will provide you with complete preparation and travel instructions.
All tours, except Hawaii, are accessible by car, and if coming by air, bus, train or ferry we will pick
you up if needed.
